Born in 1998, Noah is a proud student of the baritone saxophone and the jazz tradition. Through these disciplines, he finds a niche among his peers in the Pacific Northwest scene. Being an equally dedicated bandleader, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher of saxophone, clarinet, and flute, music is a second language for Noah. Today, Noah records and performs throughout the Puget Sound area as a leader and sideman in many styles. He has performed with Delfeayo Marsalis, John Clayton, Dmitri Matheny, Jay Thomas, and Rich Wetzel’s Groovin’ Higher Orchestra, a rock and jazz fusion ensemble based in Tacoma.

Marco Antonio de Carvalho is a Brazilian performing musician, guitarist, singer and composer. Born in the São Cristóvão neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he started out playing percussion with friends on the streets of his hometown. The guitar was ever-present in those days, so Marco developed his musical ability by “street learning” - playing by ear on the street, listening to friends and others with more experience. His experiences at Carnaval parades, matinee clubs, samba events, Tambores, and ritual rooms of Candomblé - the musical culture of his country - greatly influenced his musical development and style.
